AGE REQUIREMENTS
Masterji High School has specific age requirements for admission to pre-kindergarten (LKG) and upper kindergarten (UKG). For LKG, children must be at least 3 years and 6 months old by April 1st of the academic year. Similarly, UKG requires children to be at least 4 years and 6 months old by the same date. The school may consider minor exceptions at management's discretion.
APPLICATION PROCESS
The admission process begins with obtaining a prospectus and application form from the school office for a fee of Rs. 500. The completed application form should be submitted along with the required documents. The school reserves the right to assess the child through a test and may also invite parents and the child for an interview.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
KG & Class 1:
- A photocopy of the child's birth certificate issued by a competent authority.
Other Classes:
- Transfer certificate from the previous school
- Recent academic performance certificate from the Head of the Institution.
- The original birth certificate must also be presented for verification upon request.
- Two passport-sized photographs of the child are mandatory.
REGISTRATION AND SELECTION
- Upon submitting the application and documents, a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 1000 needs to be paid.
- Please note that registration will only be accepted for classes with notified vacancies.
- Following registration, shortlisted applicants may be called for a test/interview.
- The final decision regarding admission rests with the school authorities.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Parents are advised to provide at least a month's notice of withdrawal of their ward. Failure to do so will result in a fee equivalent to one month's tuition being charged for issuing the transfer certificate.
- Fee payment is strictly quarterly and must be done in advance before the end of the first month of each quarter. Fees are non-refundable.
- Late payment of fees incurs a fine of Rs. 50 per fortnight. Persistent delays exceeding two consecutive months may lead to the student's name being struck off the rolls.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring timely fee payment, regardless of receiving the fee bill.
- Re-admission, if allowed, requires an additional fee of Rs. 1000. Parents will also be responsible for any applicable collection charges.
